Silicone tracheostomy tubes

The Provox® LaryTube™ is a short silicone tracheostomy tube with a 22-mm connector to take up an HME or tracheostoma valve. The LaryTube™ is available in a sieved (fenestrated) or unsieved (standard) version. A third design of the LaryTube has a blue sealing ring under the 22-mm connector and no grommets on the sides. This design is intended for use in a tracheostoma adhesive.

The LaryTube™ is a very pleasant to wear tracheal cannula that is well proven in clinical use. Thanks to the conical transition between the connector and the cannula shaft, they provide a good seal on the tracheostoma when speaking.

It can be attached by a collar or the LaryClip. The LaryTube™ can be sterilized, but must only be used for one patient.

The combination of a tracheostoma adhesive and a silicone tube (here, the Provox® Regular round adhesive and Provox® LaryTube with a ring) can be advantageous if using an HME or tracheostoma valve.

The cannula stabilizes the tracheostoma, and the tracheostoma adhesive seals it.
